Americans are sometimes fooled by the visible world. If something looks like a bargain, it may not always be so.
I prefer not to look at my current weight, or today’s cholesterol count, or my blood pressure at one moment in time. Instead, I like to examine my habits, my mood, my energy level, my happiness, and how my body is aging.
When we are young and healthy, we can get away with poor health habits for a while, particularly if our parents gave us a healthy start.
But after 30-40 years of poor habits or hard living, our bodies begin to break down. The medical system wants us as regular customers, so they give us tests to scare us, then drugs or surgery to address symptoms, which generally cause more problems, and do not treat the cause. It’s an unsustainable system that needs change.
By examining our lifestyle, and changing it for the better, we can actually create health. The goal of this web site, is for you to improve your health, do more living, and live a longer, more satisfying life.
Perhaps you‘d like to take one of these Health Tests…
The first test appears in the Health Yourself iPhone app.
