Summer Eats

Yin and yang are real. Seasons dictate what foods our bodies need to thrive. While we may enjoy rich and heavy and powerful foods in the winter, from stews to root veggies, and maybe some fish, summer should be lighter foods such as bulgur wheat, couscous, long grain rice, barley, some raw and some cooked vegetables and sea vegetables, along with beans, nuts and seeds.
