Becoming Open Minded

Why are U.S. public schools not making the grade?

For one thing, they are trying to be all things to all kids, something that G.M. has shown us can no longer be done well. People are unique, and have unique needs and interests, and as marketers (or school systems), if we fail to realize and make efforts to reach each person individually, people become closed.

Like junk mail, or spam, people throw you away, you are literally wasting your breath speaking to them, in these cases. Many of us keep talking anyway, because it’s our tape, we cannot help ourselves. And we are stressed, because we sense the stress of the other person. So first, BACK OFF!! Then, de-stress, and figure out a way to communicate your special talent or needed information, in a creative and loving way.

Another tip…

People generally have closed minds these days, because they are barraged by so many offers, and many of those (I’m sorry to say) are scams. Also, they are so busy trying to make ends meet, they don’t have time to chat.

One way to open people up is by simply noticing something nice about them. Or by getting them to eat brown rice. Yep, that works too. That’s why vegetarians tend to be more open-minded. You learn something new every day!!
