Chipotle and Chick-Fil-A Eliminate Antibiotics…McDonald’s Next

This is BIG NEWS. One by one, fast food restaurants and other well known food brands are taking antibiotics out of their animal foods. Why?

Simple. Although the short term gain of cows and chickens that seem to avoid infection and increase farmers’ bottom line is appealing, it is causing massive problems with human health.

Antibiotics should be used SPARINGLY, when there’s an infection in a human or pet. But widespread agricultural use of antibiotics has lowered their effectiveness, and caused bacteria to morph into highly resistant strains.

Thousands of deaths of infants and elderly people are coming from staph infections, as well as C-Diff and other bacteria, some through hospitals, and it’s a major problem.

But things are changing. You can thank the Food Babe. Big Ag wants her out of the way. But she has bodyguards. She is making the world safer for all of us.
