Heal for Spring

It’s the Ides of March, and everybody should be excited about spring, except perhaps the tax accountants, who are overwhelmed with work.

Inevitably, the cold weather in winter means I am less active and I overeat. I believe I will move west or south before I can arrest this trend.

I use spring as a time to heal. I believe everyone is different, and I don’t not assume anyone has the same needs as me, but here’s what I’m doing:

I printed out a poster on my wall with my desired results, and then ten steps to get me there. For the next six weeks, I will give myself grades on how well I follow through, and also note how I feel, and my results. I have also taken a before picture of my face, and will compare that with how I look in six weeks. In addition to my diet and lifestyle tweaks, I will also have colon hydrotherapy at the end, which is particularly great after a campaign such as this, and particular useful as the season changes.

It’s been less than one week, and in week one I’ve not done everything on the list, but I’m a solid 6 for 10. Most importantly, I feel my willpower increasing, and I feel better already, which gives me incentive to keep going.
