Fall Back to Digestive Health

10 ideas for middle age men, in the autumn of our discontent. 2020 is a hard year for most of us. Stomach and other digestive issues abound, due to being too close to the fridge, and having less control over our lives.

The goal is to reverse minor, recent and even chronic digestive problems, which most doctors will say is impossible. That is why I avoid going to them unless my finger is cut off or I go blind—both of which have happened!!

Top 10 Ideas For Improved Digestion For Middle Aged Men

  1. Eat less animal foods, especially in spring and summer. Beef, pork, chicken, eggs, and cheese are the chief causes of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimers, pneumonia, and domestic violence. When you do eat animals, favor wild, white meat fish. Choose organic, and thank the animal. Occasional organic butter, cream, or goat feta are better than hard cheese or milk, even low-fat.
  2. Cook plant based meals at home. Use organic boiled organic grains, land and sea vegetables, beans/bean products, mushrooms, nuts and seeds. Have a real pickle (no vinegar, colors, etc.) after meals, and skip dessert often. If you are allergic to something, don’t eat it.
  3. Animal food, fruit, beverages and simple carbs are pleasure foods. These foods deplete your health. Avoid tropical fruits and nightshade veggies, especially in the autumn and winter, especially if you suffer from osteoporosis, arthritis, allergies, or joint problems.
  4. Improve your eating habits. Eat less, chew more, do not eat late, eat sitting down, be grateful for your food, avoid media or arguments while you eat, and never salt your food.
  5. Avoid GMO, processed, fast food, cold/hard foods and sugar. Wine and spirits, diet products, medications and vitamins count as sugar.
  6. Take at least one :20+ walk in the woods each day. Lie down on pine needles or grass or the beach if you can, relax, and accept your life!
  7. Keep green plants in your home. Particularly in the bedroom, office and kitchen, plants help us with oxygen and mood.
  8. Avoid radiation from TV, computer, smartphone, microwave, etc.
  9. Get plenty of sleep. Wind down without media two hours ahead. Best time to go to sleep is before 11pm, and rise before 7am.
  10. Do a daily body rub before you shower. Fill the sink with medium–hot water, run a white facecloth over your body with vigor, wringing it out after each part. This will exfoliate your skin, activate your lymph, and give you a chance to detect any changes you see or feel.
