5 Easy Food Replacements For Better Health

Even though I enjoy health foods, and know a fair amount about health and wellness, I still enjoy rich foods, and with a wife and two kids here in the Framingham area, there are many temptations. But, there are some places I will not go.

However, there are a lot of healthier “replacements” that are many times just as good, or very close. Eliminating meat, dairy and eggs in not only better for health, but also less expensive, reduces animal suffering, and helps the environment.

Here are just a few ideas that will blow your family’s mind, and keep their blood alkaline, avoiding osteoporosis, arthritis, colds and flu, and more.

  1. Breakfast: Tofu Scramble with almond cheese, mushrooms, onions, peppers and turmeric
  2. Lunch: Tempeh Mock Tuna Salad
  3. Dinner: Spaghetti & Meat Sauce w/ Quinoa Pasta, TVP, Beet, Carrot, sun dried tomato and Ume PlumSauce. Add vegan parmesan cheese too!
  4. Dessert: Whole Wheat Pumpkin Pie with no eggs, sugar or dairy
  5. Beverage: Pero Instant Beverage (at Whole Foods)
