Chew On This…

As I told the people at the Acton Networking group I spoke to this past Monday evening, chewing can make a dramatic difference in the digestion process, and yield results such as:

1) Weight Loss

2) Better Mood & Concentration

3) Lower Toxicity in your body

4) Higher Immunity

It works great for all foods, but is especially powerful when you chew boiled grains such as rice, millet, barley, corn, quinoa, amaranthe, spelt, etc. Your mouth is where grains (and other carbs) do most of their digesting, with the help of slightly alkaline saliva.

Sit up straight, lean forward just a bit, and chew 25 or more times with each biteful, thinking about how good it tastes, and how lucky we are to be eating when we are hungry.

Sounds crazy, but if everyone did just this, our health and happiness would increase. Try it!
