Time to Feed Your Liver

Spring is coming, sooner than you think.

Your liver needs spring cleaning, it’s not just your home. The liver is in charge of hundreds of activities in your body. Take good care of it!

If you are having headaches, back pain, indigestion, skin rashes, or feel stressed out, are not sleeping, or are depressed or angry, your liver is having a hard time.

Here are 5 things to do, and 5 things not to do, for your liver:

Help The Liver

  1. Eat more mushrooms
  2. Eat more sprouts
  3. Eat more onions, scallions, chives, radishes
  4. Get more sleep
  5. Do daily body rubs and nature walks

Don’t Hurt The Liver

  1. Don’t eat salty, dry or baked foods, particularly animal foods
  2. Don’t miss meals, and don’t eat too much
  3. Don’t stay up late, or eat late
  4. Avoid alcohol, sugar and drugs
  5. Don’t smoke
