The upcoming election does not interest me, and here’s why. I don’t believe that either side understands the importance of healing our people. Seems to me, we are sick, depressed, angry, obsessive, confused and tired, and we need something, fast.

  1. Outlaw High Fructose Corn Syrup and NaCl in all foods, and ban all foods with more than 250 mg sodium and 25mg sugar per serving.

Best Eggless (Tofu) Salad Sandwich

Less animal food in our diet is a positive step towards better health. Here is a nice and easy recipe which everyone who likes egg salad will enjoy.

Best Tofu Egg Salad Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 package The Bridge Tofu
  • 1 cup finely chopped vegetables (carrot, green cabbage, broccoli, celery, mushroom, scallion)
  • 1 TS vegenaise
  • 1 teaspoon country mustard
  • 1 teaspoon umeboshi paste
  • pinch seaweed shake
  • pinch turmeric
  • pinch dill
  • pinch black pepper
  • chopped lettuce
  • 6 slices of sourdough bread

Instructions:

  • Mash tofu well
  • Blanch veggies and place over tofu
  • Add in all ingredients except for lettuce and mix well
  • Put onto bread and top with lettuce and serve.

Macrobiotic Remedies For What Ails You

In the past two days, I’ve eaten things I regularly don’t. Stress, holidays, weakness, whatever.

Many people have no symptoms when they eat this way, because they have strong constitution, or because they’ve always eaten this way, but I am sensitive, so I feel:

  • Listless
  • Irritable
  • Constipated
  • Not hungry

To get this stuff (mostly cheese, some sugar) out, I’m using something called Ume-Sho-Kuzu, with a pickled umeboshi plum, shoyu (high quality soy sauce) and kuzu (aka kudzu, a white rock that comes mainly from Louisiana these days).… Read the rest
